Kimberly Adams and Kathleen Keenan
Hi there and welcome to our site. We’re so happy you’re here and we hope you have as much fun as we have had with this thing called flow! We had no idea that this is where we’d be when we met just a few years ago.
It was actually in November, 2014, in sunny San Diego while we were attending a four day event. We met the last night, had dinner together and realized we had an instant connection. You know how that is when you meet someone and feel that you’ve known them your whole life. That was us. We also had some major things in common. We loved coffee (Strong French Roast, please), nature, art and laughing.
As fate would have it, we were going to be within an hour of each other in Florida beginning the next month! How cool was that? We visited each other often and started discussing what we wanted to do together. Since we had signed up for a year long mastermind based in San Diego, we became travel buddies too and had so much fun together. We’d both just been through divorces and realized that if we weren't having fun, we weren't interested. We quickly decided that whatever we did, it was going to be fun, easy and lighthearted.
We came from very different backgrounds, though. Kathleen had spent the last 20 years as an artist in several different mediums and Kim had just left the international tax field after 30 years and had hightailed it to Florida for the winter. Even though we appeared so different, we just clicked and felt as though we'd known each other our whole lives. After Kim left Florida and returned to her home in Pittsburgh, we stayed in touch and continued to discuss ideas on what we wanted to do together. We were committed to holding out for what felt right. We had sure run the gambit of things that hadn’t resonated so we decided it was best to just wait it out.
Ahhh, Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater in the Laurel Highlands of Western Pennsylvania
It was during the summer of 2018 when we were together in the Laurel Highlands of Pittsburgh, that we seemed to be surrounded by something we’ve come to call “the Field of Flow.” We're both architecture and design junkies so we toured Fallingwater and were soaking up its beauty and energy. We had plans to "do" a bunch of things but just couldn't get up the energy to do a damn thing. We started to realize that we had latched onto something powerful so we decided to just “go with the flow.”
We started to connect with the “Field” on a daily basis and have found it to be a true avenue to living in flow. We started realizing how easy and fun it was to just connect and let flow bring us guidance, people and knowledge we needed at that exact moment and also gave us instant feedback on whether we were in flow or not!
We asked if we could share it and the answer was a resounding, “Why YES!” We were so happy!
We spend our time now allowing the “Field” to guide us in whatever makes our hearts sing and where we find the most joy. We're not even sure where it will take us day to day and we're totally ok with that! It looks differently for each of us and probably will be for you too! Enjoy the ride.
